About The Curious Reviewer

STATUS: saving and reviewing

Hi there! Welcome to my page, The Curious Reviewer

WHO AM I?

Hi, I'm Kay from Singapore! I'm just a curious one and I love buying things that are totally worth their value. It's important to me. I think saving is a beautiful virtue - it's not just about reducing expenses, but also about reducing consumption and wastage, thereby helping to preserve resources!

I started this blog because I often find myself asking, “Is this actually worth it?” I usually spend time reading reviews before buying something, and sometimes still feel unsure. So I thought, why not share my own take, in case someone else is wondering the same thing?

The reviews you will find here are simple, honest, and written with a personal touch, from one curious consumer to another. :)

Let me also take the opportunity to say this:

To the wonderful people who take the time to write insightful reviews and share their honest opinions — thank you!

WHAT YOU WILL SEE HERE

- My real thoughts on random products that I've purchased!

You will find quick and casual reviews, with enough useful information.

Currently, I don't intend to include prices of the products I feature here. These are really random products that I bought and want to share my thoughts on.

This will cover everything from daily essentials and tech gear to food products - anything I’m interested in, curious about, or have purchased!

If you're looking into any of the products I’ve reviewed, I hope my thoughts can help you decide if it’s right for you.

Please remember that these reviews are only based on my personal opinions. They are not professional reviews. What appeals to me may not appeal to everyone. Please always use your own judgment and discretion before making any decisions or purchases.

If you have any questions about a product I feature here, feel free to ask in the comments!

Happy browsing! Happy shopping!

Value for money, it's a solid choice for entry-level monitoring headphones.  Quality:  3.5 /5  [Decent entry-level monitoring headphones. Substantial clarity. Lacks bass.]  Value:  5/5  [Value for money, for its quality.]  Comfort:  4/5  [Hardly any discomfort after wearing for long hours.]  Suitability:  Beginners in audio mixing and monitoring. Those on a tight on budget looking for decent quality headphones. Listeners who value clarity over bass.

Flair Pistachio Kunafa Dubai Chocolate Cake Bar Review

RATING:  3 ★ |  At a glance...  "Viral" Dubai Chocolate's distant cousin? The Flair Pistachio Kunafa Chocolate Cake Bar has a fairly average overall flavor, with noticeable notes of pistachio.  Taste:  3 /5  Is it worth it:  No for me. It just feels like an average chocolate cake bar snack with pistachio flavor.

Unisoy Nutritious Soy Matcha Review: Great for Matcha Lovers

RATING:  5 ★  Healthy soy-based matcha latte with a rich flavor. Not too sweet, and the matcha really comes through!  Taste:   5/5  [Nice texture, noticeable matcha flavor]  [Made from soy, only 5 ingredients; mostly clean and recognizable]  Is it worth it:  I'd say yes, due to health score  [May repurchase when I see it on offer]  Suitability:  When you crave matcha latte, for tea time breaks, when you want to have a fancy treat drink that's more convenient and cheaper than buying from a physical beverage store.

Unisoy Rice Soy Milk Powder Review: Rich and Aromatic

RATING:  4 ★ |  At a glance...  Aromatic and creamy soy milk with a subtle rice note — just the right sweetness and easy to enjoy.  Taste:   5/5  [Rich and creamy texture. Strong scent.]  [Less than 10 ingredients that are mostly recognizable. With additive and flavorings.]  Is it worth it:  Depends on whether you want to have a flavored soy milk. It's a bit pricey, and with the additives, I'd rather just pay more for a fresh cup of soy milk. Suitability:  If you like soy milk with a thick and rich texture, if you want convenience and have something different from a regular soy milk. Great as a breakfast drink or for tea breaks.
