How to Earn Rewards through ShopBack App | Get Referral Code

Is it worth installing the app or using the service: Yes!

Have you heard of ShopBack? Did you know that ShopBack offers great rewards such as cashback and vouchers? You get rewarded as you spend!

ShopBack has been around for over a decade, and I just found out today that it was founded in Singapore

ShopBack is available on mobile (app) and on desktop (via the website or browser extension). To tell the truth, I only signed up for ShopBack earlier this year, just to grab a cashback reward for a big purchase I made. 😅

Upon downloading the app, I was pleasantly surprised by the vouchers they have! I wish I had joined ShopBack earlier! But better late than never!

Some rewards that I’ve gained to date include: $0.60 Old Chang Kee curry puff, $0.99 Nine Fresh Signature Desert, 50% off Swee Heng Bakery (capped at $1.50).

New users receive attractive vouchers upon signing up.

Existing users also get discount vouchers issued periodically, offering great deals. Be sure to grab and use them as soon as you can, as they are only available in limited quantities.

Vouchers aside, you’ll still gain cashback on any purchase made at participating stores! These extra cents saved can accumulate to huge savings in the long term.

How to use the ShopBack app?

The ShopBack app is very easy to use.

To earn cashback through your purchases, firstly, you need to connect a card (debit/credit) in the app. Alternatively, you may choose to connect Apple Pay, Google Pay, as well as, GrabPay.

The connected payment method will be what you use to pay for your purchases when using the ShopBack app.

After linking a card, you can also simply use the same card for payment to get cashback tracked, without needing to open the app to pay.

For in-store purchases

To make payment at a participating merchant, you can either

  1. use physical card to pay (the one linked to your ShopBack account)
  2. or simply, open the ShopBack app and scan the ShopBack QR code at the store. After scanning, you’ll then be directed to the page to input the amount to pay. On that page, you can also select if you want to use your cashback balance to offset the amount.
If you want to use ShopBack vouchers, you need to open the app to scan the QR code at the store.

For online purchases

In the ShopBack app, go to your desired shopping platform's page in the app. You can also search for it at the top bar in the app. When you've reached its page (e.g. Amazon, Shopee, Lazada, Taobao), there will be clear instructions on how to earn cashback for each platform. Simply follow the instructions and you are good to go!

How to get ShopBack Cashback Overview (online stores)

Where To Find the Cashback Amount on ShopBack

Wondering where you can find the cashback amount on ShopBack? Here's how…

Once your purchase is completed, the cashback amount may take up to 48 hours to be reflected

1. See cashback (Lifetime earnings) at the home page of ShopBack app

2. View ShopBack cashback (Lifetime earnings) by going to "Account"

  • For a more detailed view, click on "See activity" to see the breakdown of each transaction and cashback earned.

3. To view In-store Cashback only, click on this section (as shown in image below)

For physical store purchases, ShopBack cashback earned will be confirmed on every subsequent visit.

Apart from earning cashback through your spendings, you can also play games and do surveys provided in the app to earn extra rewards. I haven’t tried these features, so I’m not sure how good they are. Feel free to check them out to earn more rewards!

One downside of the app is that, for some merchants, cashback can only be used at the same store for future purchases, rather than on any purchase.

Overall, I’m happy with ShopBack!

Unisoy Rice Soy Milk Powder Review: Rich and Aromatic

RATING:  4 ★ |  At a glance...  Aromatic and creamy soy milk with a subtle rice note — just the right sweetness and easy to enjoy.  Taste:   5/5  [Rich and creamy texture. Strong scent.]  [Less than 10 ingredients that are mostly recognizable. With additive and flavorings.]  Is it worth it:  Depends on whether you want to have a flavored soy milk. It's a bit pricey, and with the additives, I'd rather just pay more for a fresh cup of soy milk. Suitability:  If you like soy milk with a thick and rich texture, if you want convenience and have something different from a regular soy milk. Great as a breakfast drink or for tea breaks.
